The owner, Heather Evetts, lives in Dallas with her husband, son and their five dogs.
After college, Heather worked in corporate events for the Walt Disney Studio in Los Angeles launching her career in event design and management. Her passion for social events and weddings quickly grew resulting in the launch of Simply Elegant Santa Barbara, co-founded in 2002 by Heather and her mentor/partner JoAnn. During this time Heather also became deeply passionate about the natural beauty of the earth and all things floral.
The passion for event and floral design has continued with Heather through her move to Texas, thus inspiring simply.elegant.dallas.
Heather is often described as “seriously creative” enjoying the logistics behind executing a flawless event or obsessive about making an arrangement look just right for any situation.
